Marcia Mead

Marcia Mead has dedicated her career to the independent and franchise business sector, bringing more than 24 years of franchising experience. She is an active member of the International Franchise Association (IFA), where she has served on the Women’s Franchise Committee for six years and currently Chairs the Supplier Forum Advisory Board.

Since 2019, Marcia has led M Squared Franchise Consulting as President. M Squared is a boutique consulting firm specializing in fractional franchise development services for franchisors. The firm partners with brands to strengthen and grow their franchise development departments through projects such as launching or revitalizing development systems, optimizing technology and automation, refining processes, enhancing FDDs, staffing, reporting, and marketing. M Squared also provides ongoing candidate and lead management support. Current clients include Any Lab Test Now, True North Restoration, Ziebart, Go Mini’s, streetpops, and Wise Coatings.

Previously, Marcia served as Vice President of Franchise Recruiting for Outdoor Living Brands, a multi-brand franchise platform including Archadeck, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, Conserva Irrigation, Mosquito Squad, and Renew Crew. In this role, she directed the franchise recruiting department, driving growth across all brands through leadership in marketing, sales, process improvement, team management, technology, and vendor partnerships.

Her earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of Franchise Development for PuroClean, where she led a team of six and directed franchise expansion efforts for three years. Before that, she spent 14 years with First Service Corporation, holding leadership roles at both Floor Coverings International and CertaPro Painters, where she oversaw franchise development, operations, recruiting, and national accounts. Marcia began her career in franchising at age 25 as a CertaPro Painters franchisee in Kansas City, where she scaled her business to nearly $1 million in annual revenue.

Marcia holds a bachelor’s degree in business with concentrations in marketing and management from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. She currently divides her time between Atlanta, Georgia, and Little Rock, Arkansas, with her partner, Philip.
